EVENT INSURANCE
The Manor at Hickory Creek requires liability insurance if alcohol will be present at your event and always recommends adding cancellation coverage to protect your investment. Event Insurance is strongly encouraged so that your liabilities and investments are protected, whether alcohol is present or not.
With events involving any type of alcohol, the following insurance requirements must be met by the Renter and proof submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to the event:
Certificate of Insurance from Renter (available through your own insurance company; or, from companies such as those listed below, demonstrating $1million in coverage per occurrence/$2million aggregate (must include Liquor Liability coverage if event will have alcohol, wine and/or beer). The following must be named as “Additional Insureds”:
“The Manor at Hickory Creek, its employees, and agents” (12544 Yarnell Rd Knoxville, TN 37932)
If there are third-party vendors involved in the event (who are not designated as existing partners of The Manor at Hickory Creek already), the following insurance requirements must also be met and proof submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to the event:
Events with catering and/or vendor-provided alcohol (including beer & wine) – additional Certificate of Insurance from vendor(s) demonstrating $1million in coverage per occurrence/$2million aggregate in coverage and naming The Manor at Hickory Creek (above) as “Additional Insureds.”
Events with other vendors providing paid services to Renter – additional Certificate of Insurance from vendor(s) demonstrating $1million in coverage per occurrence/$2million aggregate in coverage and naming The Manor at Hickory Creek (above) as “Additional Insureds.”
